August 30 – Jehovah Rohi: The Lord is My Shepherd (Week 8 – Psalm 23) **
Theme: God’s guidance is personal, attentive, and ongoing.
September 6 – Jehovah Tsidkenu: The Lord Is Our Righteousness (Week 9 – Jeremiah 23:1-6)
Theme: God does for us what we cannot do for ourselves. He restores and redeems.

God in the Gray: Finding Faith Beyond Easy Answers
Fall 2026
September 13 – God in the Gray: Exile (Week 1 – Genesis 21:8-21)**
Theme: Hagar and Ishmael are cast out into the wilderness, yet God sees and sustains them. Even in seasons of rejection and displacement, God remains present.
September 20 – God in the Gray: Consequences (Week 2 – Exodus 1:15-21)
Theme: The Hebrew midwives choose courage over compliance. Faithfulness sometimes requires navigating competing moral obligations in a broken world.
September 27 – God in the Gray: Questions (Week 3 – Habakkuk 1:1-4; 3:17-19)
Theme: Habakkuk challenges God about injustice and suffering. Biblical faith makes room for honest questions and unresolved tensions.
October 4 – God in the Gray: Judgment (Week 4 – Matthew 13:24-30, 36-43)
Theme: Jesus cautions against prematurely separating wheat from weeds. Humility requires recognizing that only God sees the whole story.
October 11 – God in the Gray: Walls (Week 5 – Mark 7:24-30)**
Theme: The Syrophoenician woman challenges assumptions about who belongs. God's grace often reaches beyond the walls we construct.
October 18 – God in the Gray: Grief (Week 6 – 2 Samuel 21:1-14)
Theme: Rizpah's silent vigil becomes a powerful witness to love, loss, and justice. God is present even when suffering remains unresolved.
October 25 – God in the Gray: Doing & Being (Week 7 – Luke 10:38-42)
Theme: Martha and Mary reveal the tension between activity and attentiveness. Faithfulness requires discerning what matters most in each moment.
November 1 – God in the Gray: Wrestling (Week 8 – Genesis 32:22-32)
Theme: Jacob encounters God through struggle and emerges both blessed and wounded. Transformation often comes through seasons of wrestling rather than certainty.
November 8 – God in the Gray: Injustice (Week 9 – Luke 15:11-32)**
Theme: The older brother wrestles with mercy that feels undeserved. God's grace frequently challenges our assumptions about what is fair.
November 15 – God in the Gray: Failure (Week 8 – John 21:15-19)
Theme: Peter's restoration reminds us that failure need not define us. God often does His deepest work through our weakest moments.
November 22 – God in the Gray: Waiting (Week 8 – Hebrews 11:13-16, 39-40)
Theme: Many heroes of faith died without seeing the fulfillment of God's promises. Faith is learning to trust God in the space between promise and fulfillment.
